(PALOS HEIGHTS) A teen is charged with bringing a stun gun to class Friday and shocking four fellow students at Shepard High School in Palos Heights.
Cook County Sheriff’s police responded to the high school, at 13049 S. Ridgeland Ave., after the 17-year-old Alsip boy shocked four other teens about 9:15 a.m., spokeswoman Sophia Ansari said.
The device was not the type that shoots prongs, Ansari said.
The victims were all boys between 14 and 17 years old, she said. There were no apparent injuries, but one went to the hospital at his parent’s request.
The Alsip teen, who is also a student at the high school, was charged with four counts of aggravated battery and one count of unlawful use of a weapon, Ansari said. His name was not being released because he is being charged as a juvenile.
