Chase Daniel’s buzzer-beater lifts Glenbrook South over Glenbrook North

The last time Chase Daniel said he made a game-winning basket was in the fifth grade.

“That doesn’t really count, though,” he said.

The Glenbrook South senior guard surely will count the one he made Friday in the team’s 43-40 win over Glenbrook North in a Central Suburban boys basketball crossover game.
