Man shot, wounded in Woodlawn

A man was shot and wounded Saturday evening in Woodlawn on the South Side.

The 52-year-old man was standing in an alley in the 1500 block of East 66th Place around 6:15 p.m. when someone walked up, shot him in the lower left leg and ran off, according to Chicago Police, who said the injured man was being treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
