A west suburban Villa Park man was charged with possession of child pornography Friday.

Giovanni Hernandez, 20, was charged with four counts of possession of child porngraphy, the DuPage County Sheriff’s office said in a statement. Hernandez was arrested at his home in the 1S200 block of Ingersoll Lane, police said.

A forensic examination of electronics removed from Hernandez’s home revealed the presence of and distribution of child pornography, police said.

He is due in bond court Saturday.
