SHARE Police warn of garage burglaries in North Center, Lake View

Police issued an alert after several recent garage burglaries in the North Center and Lake View neighborhoods on the North Side.

The burglaries occurred between Nov. 26 and Dec. 4, according to a statement from Chicago Police. In each instance, a person enters a garage without using force and steals items from vehicles and the garage, police said.

The robberies occurred:

– Between 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. on Nov. 26 or 27th in the 2800 block of North Paulina

– Between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. on Nov. 27 or 28th in the 2000 block of West Belmont

– Between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Nov. 30 or Dec. 1 in the 1700 block of West Diversey

– Between 9 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 3 or 4th in the 3000 block of North Hamilton
