One in custody in Carpentersville stabbing

One person was taken into custody Saturday after a man was stabbed in Carpentersville.

Officers responding to a call of a disturbance and a possible stabbing at about 5:50 a.m. found a man who had been stabbed in a home in the 2200 block of Teepee Avenue, according to the Carpentersville Police Department.

He was taken to Sherman Hospital in Elgin, where he underwent surgery police said.
