Kyle Ross the boss as Jacobs hits shots, KOs Harlan

Rebounders, defenders and playmakers are all well and good, but sometimes a shooter is exactly what you need.

Jacobs hit that point Saturday afternoon in a game with Harlan at Larkin’s Mac Irvin Classic. The Golden Eagles brought in junior reserve guard Kyle Ross with this in mind, and his two third-quarter three-pointers ignited a surge that keyed a 62-48 nonconference victory.
