Chris Brown hits back at ex — but only on Instagram

Chris Brown didn’t waste any time responding to ex-galpal Karrueche Tran’s Instagram rant — claiming she had split with the R&B star because he abused her.

Only hours after Tran posted her bit, Brown struck back Saturday night, charging his ex had cheated with him with his longtime rival Drake. Tran and Brown have had a well-publicized on-and-off relationship, but the singer went very public about it Friday night, announcing “I’m single… F— that b—-,” during a concert in Los Angeles. That prompted Tran to take to Twitter, writing, “N*ggas be in they feelings when you break up with them lol.”

Tran then elaborated further on Instagram: “I refuse to be repeatedly mistreated especially by someone who claims to love me. That’s not love. And if that’s what you define as love then I don’t want it.”

A source close to Brown told this column Sunday, “Chris went nuts over that,” explaining the singer’s retort on Instagram which included Brown claiming, “We’ve got scars, some of them u gave me, some of them I’ve caused. That ride or die act we have been fooling the world with obviously ain’t working. I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake!”

Getting even more graphic, Brown added, “When this relationship first started u knew what it was and even participated in threesomes. I slowed all that s— down. So let’s not try to save face for public opinion because I don’t need to play victim so people can take my side. All these celebrity n*ggas ain’t s— and focus only on themselves. I made it clear to the world who my girl was and made your life equal to mine even at the cost of me not focusing on my career at times.”

Brown has since deleted his own rant from Instagram. He and Drake have long feuded, mostly over Rihanna, but after they participated in a ESPY Awards sketch earlier this year, it had seemed they had buried the hatchet.

Maybe not.
