Billy Garrett Jr. scored 18 points and Tommy Hamilton IV chipped in 15 with nine rebounds, leading DePaul to an 83-61 victory over Milwaukee on Sunday.

The Blue Demons (6-1) shot 53.1 percent from the field and had all five starters score in double figures. Myke Henry finished with 15 points, Jamee Crockett had 13 and Durrell McDonald added 10 for DePaul. Garrett was 11 of 11 from the line and had six rebounds with four assists.

DePaul jumped out to an early 17-4 lead as Garrett, Forrest Robinson and McDonald each drained 3-pointers. Trailing by 14 at halftime, Milwaukee (4-5) trimmed its deficit to nine at the midway mark in the second half, but Crockett and Henry each answered with 3-pointers and pulled away from there.

The Panthers shot 24 of 64 from the field (37.5 percent). JeVon Lyle and Steve McWhorter each scored 13 points for Milwaukee.
