SHARE Police warn of Woodlawn home burglaries

Police issued a community alert Sunday warning Woodlawn neighborhood residents on the South Side of a string of home burglaries.

The burglars break into homes via the doors, according to the alert issued by Area Central detectives.

The burglaries happened:

-in the 6600 block of South Drexel during the daytime hours of Nov. 30;

-in the 6600 block of South Drexel during the evening hours of Nov. 30;

-in the 6400 block of South Unviersity during the evening hours of Dec. 1;

-in the 6300 block of South Greenwood during the daytime hours of Dec. 4.
