A 15-year-old boy was shot in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side Monday afternoon.

About 3:30 p.m., the teen was in the 3000 block of West Roosevelt when he heard an argument followed by gunshots, said police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala, citing preliminary information.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg, Zala added. He was listed in good condition.
