(WOODRIDGE) Two people are charged with beating and robbing a man at an apartment complex in west suburban Woodridge.

Officers responded about 7 p.m. Monday where they met with the victim, who said two people beat him with a baseball bat at the Windsor Lakes apartment complex, according to a statement from the village of Woodridge.

They also stole his cell phone and cash, police claim.

Police later identified the suspects as Taurion Moore, 24, and Jemica Lee, 22, both of the 7300 block of Woodward Avenue, police said.

Both are charged with aggravated battery and armed robbery, and are being held in the DuPage County Jail, authorities said.
