Even in the midst of an eventual 20-point win Tuesday at Oswego East, Aaron Jordan understood where coach Branden Adkins was coming from when he had a second-quarter meltdown.

“It’s frustrating (for Adkins) watching the potential of this team when we don’t get things done, but he knows we can get things done,” the University of Illinois recruit said with a smile, recalling the way the Plainfield East coach had slammed his clipboard to the floor to get his players’ attention.
