Could it be in the blood? …

Sorry for the bad pun in the headline, but it looks like a new “Vampire” romance is in the works. Ian Somerhalder, who stars in “The Vampire Diaries,” is now dating Nikki Reed who, of course, is best known for her acting in the “Twilight” vampire-centric films.

Green split with husband and former “American Idol” star Paul McDonald earlier this year. However, the former couple are still on great terms and actually working on a number of musical projects together. Somerhalder is on equally good terms with his co-star Nina Dobrev — with whom he had a romantic relationship up until last year.
