Will YouTube star Sivan be next Justin Bieber?

Here’s a name you should note: Troye Sivan. The 19-year old, openly-gay singer, who lives both in South Africa and Australia, is HUGE on YouTube, where his EP (coming out Aug. 15) is No .1 on the iTunes album chart.

Many are calling him the “next Justin Bieber” — let’s hope just professionally, not in how he conducts his personal life.

A big Sivan hit is his song, “The Fault in Our Stars,” which was inspired by John Green’s novel, but is not part of the movie or its soundtrack, as my online celeb-watching pal Roger Friedman of showbiz411.com points out.
