You can bet Garth Brooks’ legion of fans will be anxiously anticipating the country singer’s big announcement later this week. Many expect the singer’s message — which will begin live streaming at GarthBrooks.com at 11 a.m. (Chicago time) Thursday will be all about an upcoming comeback tour.

Last week, Brooks teased folks with a message reading, “The wait is over,” leading to more tour rumors. Late last year, Brooks did say he would go on tour this year, but only announced five concert dates in Ireland — and two of those dates have already been canceled. On top of that various Irish licensing issues for the concerts have threatened those as well.

Brooks has said he will only do all five — or none at all.

After Thursday, those issues, plus any news about a world tour should be made clear.
