NILES — The Notre Dame and Prairie Ridge football teams will have to wait another day to open their seasons.

The power went out at Notre Dame’s stadium during the second quarter of the sophomore game Friday and then persistent lightning flashes ultimately postponed both games until Saturday.

The varsity teams will kick off at 2:30 p.m.
