Sandburg and Homewood-Flossmoor will be among five Feb. 22 sectional hosts that include Southland teams vying for spots in the state meet.

Stagg and Brother Rice will have some of the top individuals at Sandburg while Andrew and Lincoln-Way East look to qualify several swimmers at H-F for the state meet a week later at Evanston.

South Suburban Red champion Reavis will face a strong field at the Fenwick sectional. Reavis won its second straight conference title Saturday at Oak Lawn.

“We didn’t taper all of our guys down, so it’s our expectation to see some further time drops,’’ Reavis coach Frank Keller said.
