Local Love on South Side

If you’re a Maine South and baseball fan, you’ve mostly paid attention to Brian Schlitter and Cubs these days.

But another Hawk product will be coming to town this weekend. Adam Rosales and the Oakland A’s play the White Sox Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday’s game is 7:10 p.m. (CSN); Saturday 6:05 p.m. (CSN); Sunday 1:05 p.m. (WGN).

Rosales is having a career season in his first season with the A’s. The second baseman has played 74 games and hit .273 with seven homers and 31 RBI.

Both the A’s and White Sox are in pennant races. The White Sox lead the Central, while the A’s are second in the West.
