Libertyville is the top seed in the annual Pepsi Showdown, which begins Sept. 6. The Wildcats open the tournament against Willowbrook at 6:30 p.m.

The bracket was released Wednesday for the tournament, which is billed as the largest high school boys soccer tournament in the country. The other top seeds in order are East Aurora, Lyons and St. Charles North.

Lyons will host the quarterfinals Sept. 10 and semifinals Sept. 17 at its LaGrange North campus.

The tournament ends with a tripleheader Sept. 18 at Toyota Park with games at 10:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and the final at 2 p.m.
