SHARE Amid devastation, Joplin Eagles endure

Entering the final week of the IHSA football regular season, sometimes its better to remember that the games aren’t just about winning and losing.

ESPN’s excellent weekly show, Outside the Lines, profiled the beginning of the season for Joplin (Mo.) High School’s football team months after a massive tornado destroyed much of the town.

It just might be one of the show’s best reports on high school athletics.
