Clearing the Water

In the past two weeks, I’ve heard two rumors about local athletes that I want to dispel or confirm. I’m not going to be specific on either one just yet, but I wanted to assure readers that just because I hear something doesn’t mean I take it for the truth. I spend considerable time separating the jewels from the garbage, especially when most of the subjects are teenagers. I enjoy tugging at the grapevine as much as the next guy, but it’s more important to me to be second and right than first and wrong.
