Oak Hill, the top-ranked basketball team in the nation, is coming to Chicago in January.
Simeon and Oak Hill signed a contract on Wednesday to play Jan. 18 at the UIC Pavilion. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
Last season Oak Hill was 40-1, but only defeated Simeon by six points at the Marshall County Shootout in December.
Oak Hill is led by guard Nolan Smith, the son of NBA guard Derek Smith. Two high-profile transfers, Alex Legion (a 6-5 guard from Michigan) and Brandon Jennings (a 6-2 guard from California) joined Oak Hill this season. The frontline is led by 6-8 Julian Vaughn, a Florida State recruit, 6-7 Mike Holmes, a South Carolina recruit, and 6-8 Howard Thompkins.
