THE SKINNY

Payton may have received the higher seeding because of its 8-1 record in the Chicago conference, but even with a 5-4 record Rochelle was a much superior team. 

TURNING POINT

The Hubs wasted little time as they scored on their first play from scrimmage on a 51-yard run by running back Evan White. 

THE STAR

White gained 161 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries, and Marquez Felix rushed for 117 yards and a score on five carries.
