Madeline Engelking and Hinsdale Central earned the No. 1 seed in the Class 3A Hinsdale Central Sectional in pairings released Friday by the IHSA.
The Devils (9-3-2) will face West Suburban Silver rivals Lyons and York in back-to-back games next week. Lyons is seeded No. 2 and York is No. 3 in the sectional.
Other top seeds for Class 3A include Naperville North at Bolingbrook, Buffalo Grove at Mundelein, Loyola at New Trier, Sandburg at Andrew and St. Charles North at Hoffman Estates.
In Class 2A, the top seeds are Lemont at Lincoln-Way West, Deerfield at Lakes, Trinity at Ridgewood and Fenwick at Riverside-Brookfield.
