Conant and Elk Grove continued their surprising tournament runs at the Prospect Regional to guarantee an all-MSL final and champion. The No. 15-seeded Cougars beat Lake Park 7-3 to advance to Wednesday’s semis against No. 6 Hersey, an 11-1 winner over Prospect. The No. 13 Grenadiers extended their summer season with a 5-1 victory over Jacobs. They play No. 1 Schaumburg, which beat Fremd 7-6.

At Palatine, the host Pirates, the No. 4 seed, beat Lane Tech 9-4 to move on to the semis. Palatine plays Warren on Wednesday.
