CSL Hoops Hits

Not one game has been played and the CSL boys basketball league has taken some big losses.

First it was the defections of Maine East’s Abdul Nader (Niles North) and Charles McKinney (out of state). Then came news that Maine South’s 6-8, 270-pound center Kevin Schlitter tore his ACL in a park district game. On the first day of practice, Glenbrook North point guard Matt Merrigan also hurt his knee. And Waukegan’s Jereme Richmond signed his letter of intent to play for Illinois on crutches.

Yikes.
