Evanston Playing at McDipper

Evanston is moving on after playing in DeKalb’s holiday tournament.

The Wildkits are in the field this month at Rich South’s McDipper. The defending CSL South champions open tournament play against Rich East on Dec. 26. The tournament concludes Dec. 30.

Evanston won tournament titles in 1983 and 1984. The Wildkits then were consolation champs in 1985 before dropping out.

Thornton won the tournament last season over Crete-Monee. The Wildcats own four titles since 2004.
