An eastbound Blue Line train derailed near the Pulaski station Wednesday morning on the West Side.

The “minor derailment” happened about 7:15 a.m. on the inbound side of the tracks near the Pulaski station, according to CTA spokeswoman Tammy Chase. Trains were standing at the station.

The CTA was offering passengers shuttle bus service between the Cicero and Western stations, Chase said.

Travelers were urged to use alternate bus routes — the No. 7 Harrison, No. 12 Roosevelt, No. 126 Jackson, or the No. 53 Pulaski (for connecting service to the Green Line), as an alternative to Blue Line service.

No injuries were reported in the derailment, Chase said. The cause was not immediately known.
