Man shot to death in Gary

(GARY, Ind.) A man was shot and killed at his home Wednesday night in Gary, Ind.

Craig Anderson, 19, was shot at his home in the 2400 block of Prospect Street, according to the Lake County (Ind.) Coroner’s office.

Officers responded about 8:40 p.m. to a call of shots fired, and met a man who said his relative had been shot, Gary police said. Anderson was found wounded inside the home.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10 p.m. and his death was ruled a homicide, the coroner’s office said.
