Man shot to death in Uptown

A man was shot and killed Monday morning in the Uptown neighborhood on the North Side.

Christopher McGee, 22, was shot in the chest about 10:55 a.m. in the 4500 block of North Magnolia, authorities said.

McGee, of the 4400 block of North Magnolia, was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 12:06 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
