Another Clooney ex-girlfriend beats him to the altar

Newlyweds Elisabetta Canalis and Dr. Brian Perri married in Italy Monday.

Not that George Clooney cares, but a second of the actor’s former girlfriends has beat him to the altar. Elisabetta Canalis married Dr. Brian Perri Monday. He’s an orthopedic surgeon at Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

The couple tied the knot in Alghero, Italy. Interestingly, Clooney revealed to an audience at an event in Florence earlier this month that he will marry his fiancee, Amal Alamuddin, in Italy as well.

Canalis, who many Hollywood insiders believed seemed more interested in Clooney for the connections he could make for her entertainment career, was followed by Stacy Keibler as the Oscar winner’s girlfriend.

After Clooney dumped her, Keibler married longtime friend Jason Pobre following a brief courtship — after that friendship turned romantic. They already are the parents of a baby daughter named Ava, born Aug. 22.
