Memorial plans have been set for Chicago actress Molly Glynn.
A memorial for Molly Glynn, the Chicago actress killed in a freak accident while bicycling during a serious thunderstorm earlier this month, has been set for Monday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the larger of the two venues at Skokie’s North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, 9501 Skokie Blvd.
The celebration, to be held by Glynn’s family and friends, is an event for the theater community. Glynn performed on the stages of many Chicago theaters, and appeared in both ‘Tom Jones” and “The Odd Couple” at Northlight Theatre, which is housed in the North Shore Center. She also had a small recurring role on the TV series “Chicago Fire.” The event will have a cash bar. Cameras and video will not be permitted, and the memorial is not recommended for children. Additional details will be announced at a later date.
