Three shot in Englewood

Three people — a boy, a woman and a man — were injured in an Englewood neighborhood shooting Friday night on the South Side.

The 15-year-old boy, 18-year-old woman and 37-year-old man were standing near 72nd and May streets about 8:10 p.m., when a group of males approached and opened fire, police said. The shooters then ran away.

The boy was shot in the buttocks, while the woman suffered a graze wound to the back, police said. They were both taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where they were both listed in good condition.

The man was shot in the thigh and took himself to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park, where he was also listed in good condition.
