A man was shot Tuesday night in Chicago’s West Side Austin neighborhood.

The man in his 30s was near the intersection of Chicago and Kilpatrick about 8:20 p.m. when he was shot in the leg, police said, citing preliminary information.

He was taken to Rush Oak Park Hospital, but his condition was not immediately known.
