A person was shot early Wednesday in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

The female, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was shot about 1:10 a.m. in the 7800 block of South Stony Island, police said. She had a graze wound to the face.

She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said. Her condition was not immediately known.
