Police are searching for a woman who cannot hear or speak reported missing from the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

Melody Tiffany Nunn, 30, went missing about 11:50 a.m. Wednesday from her home in the 8300 block of South Carpenter, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Nunn is described as a 5-foot-3, 140-pound black woman with black hair, brown eyes and medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a blue head scarf, red long-sleeve sweater, blue jeans, and gray and pink Nike gym shoes.

Though Nunn cannot hear or speak, she does understand sign language, police said.
