When news broke Thursday morning that Attorney General Eric Holder planned to resign, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-California, was speaking at an event for the Congressional Black Caucus foundation — when she broke the news to the audience.

The reaction? They clearly were shocked and disappointed. And were picked up on the microphone while Pelosi was talking.

Tenant convicted of murdering, dismembering 69-year-old landlord in grisly Northwest Side murder
After about seven and half hours of deliberations, the jury convicted Sandra Kolalou, 37, of all the charges she faced, which included first-degree murder, dismembering a body, concealing a homicidal death and aggravated identity theft. Her attorney plans to appeal.
