(WESTMONT) A 25-year-old man was found stabbed to death early Friday in an apartment in west suburban Westmont.

Roy Feltson Jr. of Hanover Park was found fatally stabbed about 2:15 a.m. in the apartment in the 6700 block of Lake Shore Drive, police said in a statement.

Officers found him dead after responding to a 911 call, police said.

Westmont Police Chief Thomas Mulhearn said the stabbing was an “isolated incident,” and was “not a random act.” He said the stabbing was “directed specifically towards the victim.”

There is no threat to other residents, the chief said.
