A man is in custody in connection with the shooting of two men early Saturday in West Englewood.

Two men, 25 and 31, were standing on a porch in the 7000 block of South Wolcott about 2:40 a.m. when someone approached on foot and fired, police said.

The 25-year-old was struck in the leg and the 31-year-old was shot in the face, police said. Both were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where their conditions had stabilized.

A 30-year-old man was taken in custody in connection with the shooting, police said. No charges had been filed as of 5 a.m.
