Chef Robert Irvine of the Food Network will be at Rialto Square in Joliet Oct. 10.

Food Network star Robert Irvine (“Restaurant Impossible,” “Worst Cooks in America,” etc.) is bringing his brand of no-nonsense cooking to the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet for a special program, Friday, Oct. 10.

Irvine describes the show as a “mulit-sensory event,” that will feature never-before-seen interviews with Irvine, cooking challenges, Q&A opportunities and all kinds of audience participation.

This won’t be a recipe distribution event. There will be no scripted commentary. Irvine’s team is saying this will be no-holds-barred foodie event — much like the way the muscular chef operates on TV.
