A man was shot Sunday evening in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood on the South Side.
The man, 33, was shot in the foot about 6:15 p.m. in the 4400 block of South Prairie, said police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer, citing preliminary information.
He took himself to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized, Greer said.
