Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 14-year-old girl missing since Thursday from the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

Fernatress Mitchell, of the 500 block of East 62nd Street, was last seen about 4 p.m. Thursday, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

She is described as a 5-foot-9, 240-pound black girl with brown eyes, black hair and a dark complexion, police said. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, brown denim pants and black gym shoes.
