Batavia 4, Oswego 0: The Bulldogs trumped the Panthers on an eight save shutout performance by Nick Kearns.

Metea Valley 1, Larkin 0: Devon Wardell’s goal was the only one he got, but it was the only goal the Mustangs needed to give them the lift. Joey Coryell also stopped three shots to preserve the shutout.

Somonauk 4, DePue 1: The Bobcats rode Josh Schmitt’s pair of goals to victory. Tommy Skupien and John Johnson also each netted a goal themselves.

Warren 1, Marmion 0: The Cadets were unable to pull off a win during their first game at the Barrington tournament, but Matthew Fletcher made 3 saves in goal while playing for 80 minutes.

Illinois College 49, Aurora University 6: Jake Apple rushed for 62 yards and scored a touchdown in the Spartans’ season opening loss.
