It may look more like a college yearbook photo, but former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger clearly didn’t seem to mind — as the the Golden State’s ex-CEO made a rare appearance in Sacramento Monday for the unveiling of his official gubernatorial portrait.
Schwarzenegger was also in the California capital to promote the state’s fight against climate change.
The bodybuilding champ-turned major Hollywood action star-turned politician unveiled the portrait of himself in front of the official California seal.
The portrait was done by Austrian artist Gottfried Helnwein, a realist who previously illustrated Andy Warhol and John F. Kennedy, the uncle of Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife, Maria Shriver.
