Neil Patrick Harris and his longtime partner David Burtka are now a married couple.
The two tied the knot in Italy Saturday, at what the Tony-winning actor’s publicist called “an intimate ceremony surrounded by their close friends and family.”
That included the couple’s twins Gideon and Harper and superstar Elton John, who performed at the reception.
Harris and Burtka were married by Pam Fryman, a producer and director of Harris’ long-running TV hit, “How I Met Your Mother.”
The two men wore custom-made Tom Ford tuxedos at the happy event.
They announced their engagement in June, 2011, after the passage of the Marriage Equality Act in New York, where they live with their son and daughter in a Harlem townhouse.
