Ashley Tisdale marries Christopher French

Christopher French and Ashley Tisdale have confirmed they secretly married on Monday.

Once again a celebrity turned to social media to announce a major personal event in her life. Ashley Tisdale announced via Instagram Monday she had secretly married fiance Christopher French.

Along with a photo of the happy couple, the former “High School Musical” star posted “Best day of my life. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. French Sept. 8, 2014.”

Tisdale and French, the lead singer of Annie Automatic, first went public with their relationship in December, 2012, shortly after being introduced by mutual friends. Eight months later, French proposed on the 103rd floor of the Empire State Building in New York.

This is the first marriage for both Tisdale and French. She previously was briefly linked to Boys Like Girls’ Martin Johnson in 2012 and earlier had dated “Step Up Revolution” director Scott Speer, until the couple split up in December, 2011.
