Twice this season, Derrick Rose has been able to play in 11 consecutive games.
For now, his season-high streak will stay at 11.
A sore left knee has forced the Bulls to shut down Rose, according to coach Tom Thibodeau. Rose was expected to meet with team physician Dr. Brian Cole.
“I’m always concerned,’’ Thibodeau said Saturday before the game against the Bucks at the United Center.
Thibodeau said that Rose had a little bit of soreness during the loss to the Wizards on Friday and that the Bulls “want to see where he is.’’
Rose has had two season-ending knee surgeries since the 2012 playoffs. He has missed 10 games this season.
Elsewhere, Mike Dunleavy had an MRI exam on his right ankle Saturday morning, but Thibodeau was unaware of the results.
