(OAK LAWN) Police are warning Oak Lawn residents about a recent string of home burglaries in the southwest suburb.

Homes from 87th to 94th streets, between Cicero and Central avenues, have been burglarized between noon and 11:30 p.m., according to a statement from the Oak Lawn Police Department.

Police asked residents to call 911 if they see anyone suspicious in the area.
