Fans of Lenny Kravitz got a nice surprise Monday as Katy Perry revealed he will be “my first special guest” for her halftime performance at Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday, Feb. 1.

Calling Kravitz “an incredible rock ‘n’ roll icon, a guitar god,” Perry’s phraseology indicated there were more “guests” to come.

The reveal came during an interview with NBC’s Willie Geist on “Today.”

Given the relatively short time period allotted for the halftime show, it’s unlikely too many other “guest” stars will be on the bill — but who knows?

Stay tuned music lovers.
